Idol sizing reference
Laddu Gopal size guide
Find the right poshak fit for your Laddu Gopal using standard idol sizes from zero to large vigrahas. Measure height and throne clearance before ordering, and ask us about non-standard forms.
Measuring steps
How to measure your idol
Take three measurements with a soft tape, keeping the tape upright and close to the idol. Record each figure in centimeters before choosing a poshak.
1. Idol height
Measure from the base of the idol to the top of the crown. This sets the length of the poshak and is the first figure to check.
2. Waist width
Measure around the idol at its widest point, just below the chest. This guides the width of the dress and its fit at the waist.
3. Crown clearance
Measure the space needed above the crown so the poshak and any crown piece sit without pressure. Share this figure with us when you ask about sizes.
Size reference
Small, medium, and festival idols
Compare the three common altar sizes below. Use your measured height and throne clearance to find the closest match, then ask us if your idol falls outside these ranges.
Small altar idol
Suited to a compact home altar. Check the height and waist figures against the poshak chart before ordering.
Medium altar idol
A common size for a shared family altar. Confirm the throne clearance so the singhasan and backdrop fit well.
Festival idol
Larger vigrahas used for festival displays. Ask us about non-standard forms so we can confirm measurements together.
